We have been drinking quite a bit of whiskey when it comes to our podcast. We have stayed in the Midwest for the bulk of our whiskeys but received a recommendation from the gallery.. “Go west young men for some outstanding whiskey from Colorado”, said Patrick Blair, a past two-time guest of the show. “You need to try some TINCUP Whiskey from Colorado because that is some great whiskey.” We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to not only take a suggestion from a follower, guest and listener but drink some of this great whiskey.
We want to save a lot of the whiskey conversation for the podcast but we wanted again to talk something specific about this whiskey during the blog for a teaser and it is all about… The Water… We had to cross over the Mississippi River so we could march under the gateway to the west to enjoy this whiskey. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, you are going to find some awesome whiskey fueled by some wicked good rocky mountain water. We have found that in the past, some really great beverages comes out of Colorado, the high altitude and crisp clean water has been fueling some great beers for many years and now helps cut this whiskey with its unique flavor and taste. Which again, we talk quite about this during our podcast and more specifically during our tasting three ways of the whiskey.
One of the best items for this whiskey is the marketing of the bottle. Yes, one would think a member of this podcast does marketing in real life and can appreciate an eye catching feature. The bottle itself screams its name from every single angle. Which is awesome because you want to know what you are drinking so you can share it with your friend. However let’s say that said friend didn’t bring a cup to the party?? Well fear not drinkers, with every single bottle you get your own tin cup tasting cup which is on top of the bottle. We did test it out and oddly enough it works.. Okay, well yeah it would work but it gives you that perfect shot to keep on going in the mountains. East Bound, West Bound, it doesn’t matter.. Check out the podcast and hear how we enjoyed this whiskey the best.
