We are taking in another week, another whiskey with some Bird Dog Whiskey in the realm of Whiskey On The Rails. It was odd, while out on a hunting trip for whiskey, we ran across this bottle at a local liquor store in the great state of Wisconsin. If you are out on the range and looking for something to celebrate that great day of hunting, this might be the whiskey for you. Well sit back and enjoy this blog while we throw back some Bird Dog Whiskey. Train.. Train..
To be consistent with our prior blogs, we are going to give a lot more information about the whiskey during our podcast. How we tried it, how we enjoyed it and more importantly suggestions on how you can make the perfect drink. In this quick blog, we are going to talk about one quick item.. Promotion of Bird Dog Whiskey.
As I said in the introduction, we were out hunting for whiskey in the great state of Wisconsin. We were originally looking for some smaller bottles for a fun game between friends (find out more about that during the podcast) but thanks to the wonder of technology (errrrrr facebook) we saw a sponsored video about this whiskey. So right there, they got a point in our book because it was fresh in our mind. However the story continues there because we still had to check out with this whiskey.
The display of this whiskey made you feel like you were going to be out hunting or fishing and toasting this whiskey after a long day outside. Well we were in Wisconsin and a good portion of the community does in fact like to hunt and fish during the entire year. So whether you were talking about your day chasing ducks or out on the ice fishing, this whiskey is what you would want to either keep you warm during the day or sitting around the fire late in the evening.
If you want to have flavored versions of this whiskey, we do talk about it during the podcast and you can hear about the variety of tastes they provide. However if you want to get that warmth after being outside on the range all day, this is certainly going to be something to warm you up. Again, we talk in good detail about the whiskey during our podcast and we do encourage you to check out our podcast.
At the end of the day, we put another whiskey on the shelves and had another great day of recording among friends. We did enjoy having a lot of viewers on our periscope line (sponsored by Hotel Tango). We do love our sponsors and want you to learn more about them..
