Enjoying your whiskey shouldn’t be a great enigma where you need to piece and puzzle together a variety of solutions hoping for one great response. There is a ton of trial and error to find out what really works best for your maximum enjoyment and rinse and repeat actions. Well it took both of the hosts a good deal of time to bridge the conversation on whiskey and more importantly what would we like to see when it comes to our maximum enjoyment of our spirits. In our podcast, we certainly talk about that combination but for this blog, we are going to talk about our general enjoyment for our experiences during this podcast.
As we crossed over into our 30’s for podcasts, we had the opportunity to try some great whiskeys and bourbons but every one of them told a story. While some are better known stories about the whiskeys which most of the general public knows however there are some have some very unique stories on how the whiskeys were developed. From the casks to the barrels to the white lighting and to the aging, each whiskey told a story when you tasted it. It was somebody’s dreams, vision, sweat and tears which went into the creation of the whiskey to help build it to reality.
Our whiskey wall of bottles has been a combination of everything we have both enjoyed and hoped that we could mix it with our favorite beverage. The great ones, we have kept in our studio for a repeat tasting with our friends “while” the not so great ones were always immediately shared with anybody who wanted to drink it so we wouldn’t have a problem with an empty bottle. While that second statement has been far and few between on whiskey’s, we have found a couple that mixing it wouldn’t overly help its case. However in the end, we have learned that each whiskey has a great combination for enjoyment.. Go out and find yours…
