Clyde May’s Alabama Masterpiece

Taking a stroll around the United States, you can certainly find yourself a bottle of whiskey in any state.  Well we are kicking off our 50 for 50 podcast tour in Alabama with some Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey.    We learned how his roots have established some great stories in Alabama that goes across whiskey, laws and Watergate.   Give the podcast a list and find out more about what we are drinking with this bootlegger..  Train..  Train..

We are going to save a lot of this content for the podcast but the best part of our research was what we learned about Clyde May…     A man that loved his whiskey so much he was willing to cut a few corners to make sure that it was the best product in the state of Alabama.  So much, it put him in jail and ultimately the gentleman who prosecuted him joined him in jail because of his wrong doing with Watergate.  Yeah, that Watergate..   Thrown in jail yet still kept the state of “The Official Spirit Of The State Of Alabama”…   That has some be some good stuff and this blog is going to be short and sweet..

As always, we gotta thank our sponsors because without them we would be two guys with nothing to drink, nothing to drink out of and more importantly nothing to keep our drinks cold.   If you want to learn more about them, please click on the individual links below or feel free to click on the sponsor’s link at the top right corner of our webpage.  You can find each of their website, facebook and twitter links.
