Slow And Low Is The Tempo In The Nub Scale

When you randomly pull a bottle off the shelf, you never know what is waiting for you..  However when that label has Rock And Rye, it must go home with you to rock on..   Well today we broke out some Slow & Low straight rye whiskey and paired it up with a Cameroon Nub by Oliva.     For those who are about to rock with this rye, we do certainly hope you fire up a great cigar for this experience.   Do you drink this rye?  Do you shoot this rye?   All your answers will be answered in this podcast..   Train..  Train…

Alright with when we are recording, we are usually having a great time.    We show up, we pre-drink, we record and then sit around and shoot the breeze.   Each week that has been our plans and we keep it simple.   Now, each week we usually don’t let Eric be in-charge of the master recording of that podcast.   Rob will get up and get a copy of it and we then carry on our drinking ways.   Well this week, we got a story..

As we were finishing up our recording, we were working on a few editing items with our podcast.  We were still drinking the slow and low and smoking our cigars.   While one of us thought we had saved the podcast, the other was convincing the other we were good to try out a few things.     So we were working on something new, for the people.   Putting some tracks down and having a great old time.   The moment came to where we needed to save those items so we could work them into a future podcast.

Word of advice for those playing at home.   When we are recording something new, go ahead and save it with a new name opposed to saving over your already finished recording..  Yeah, that happened with this podcast recording.   There might be a reason why this recording was so very smooth and we had a lot of information on our product.   You are correct, we had to record it again.   So what happened in this scenario..  We got to sit around and drink longer and smoke a cigar longer with one of your buddies.   Now is that a bad day??  Ummmmmm, no..   Gotta say, just a normal day for the two hosts..

Now, we have said it before and we will keep saying it again.   We are so very greatly with the awesome line up of companies we are working with during this podcast.    We like to think of each of our sponsors / partners as part of our extended Whiskey On The Rails family.   When you get to pair up such great products, it is really fun to come out and record every week because we stand behind everything we talk about and enjoy each of the products we get to use during the show.      Even Eric and Rob get along during the podcast because of these great products and that right there is a miracle..
