Drinking Rebel Reserve With Jax On Route 66

Eric had so much pain the first time we tried some Rebel Yell, Rob only felt it was time to double his pain with some Rebel Reserve for our featured whiskey of the week..  So if the first round was a drink from the rails, where does this rank?    Well on the first-third, sponsored by Cigars International, we were smoking some Sons Of Anarchy Clubhouse Edition cigars, which took us out on Route 66 with Jax and Ron Pearlman.   Yeah, ADD was in full effect on this show and there was even a temper-tantrum.   Stay tuned for this entertaining podcast..  Train.. Train..

I hate to say it but when one of the hosts bring in a whiskey that really bothers the other host, it turns out to be a really good time.   Well this time, we did bring back that rebel yell only in its reserve style for our whiskey review.   I want to say this was a strong whiskey review but will completely save the meat and potatoes for our podcast coming out on Whiskey Wednedsay..

Now let me ask a question. . If you had heard a story about something and really hated the story, would that effect the way you felt about that product?  It might be a type of food, or a type of car or maybe it was a type of whiskey.   Well I almost have to believe the Billy Idol story has left a bad taste in Eric’s mouth when it comes to any sort of Rebel Yell review..  Because, that story is hiding in the attic, waiting to be brought back into Whiskey On The Rails…  When that happens, all hell breaks loose..  So maybe it isn’t the whiskey that Eric hates but maybe it is the story or story-telling of Rob when it comes to his stories..

Wow..  I might have really thought of something that has legs when it comes to Eric and his style of reviews.   Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm…  Well check out the podcast for more information on our review..

Now, we have said it before and we will keep saying it again.   We are so very greatly with the awesome line up of companies we are working with during this podcast.    We like to think of each of our sponsors / partners as part of our extended Whiskey On The Rails family.   When you get to pair up such great products, it is really fun to come out and record every week because we stand behind everything we talk about and enjoy each of the products we get to use during the show.      Even Eric and Rob get along during the podcast because of these great products and that right there is a miracle..
